2/27/03 DE Squat

decided to squat on thursday on account of the arnold tommorow.

today was the first day of circa max for my meet in april.

Rev hyper 3x
standing abs 3x

DE squat 5x2@315 w/ blue&purple, 1x1@365

deadlift off floor 245x3 445x3 535x1 625xmiss(couldnt lock it, :mad:)

next week i will go back to the Red Bar with a band and a lil lighter weight(315 and purple maybe), and then switch back to straight bar, and so on till the meet. well see how it works out.
 
Start dragging/glute ham raises/ and maybe zercher squats to help your hips lock the weight out. Curious to see how we do with alternateing the red bar and straight bar, my shoulder is still crippled from last friday.
 
yeah, im trying alot of things to address my deadlift issue. right now ive added two extra workouts per week, tues and sat, where i am doing band good morningx100, seated band leg curlsx100, and rev hypers 3 sets. gritter told me to start doing some dimmels on monday, and lou thinks i need more hypers, so i guess im going to do those 6x a week using the 60% rule. monday ill use 380 for sets, then tuesday like 250, then 180 on wed, fri 380, sat 250 sun 180. all for 3 sets of around 10 (or untill i pass out from loss of oxygen)

i think alternating is going to work well, last week using the green band with the red bar was very very hard, but today i felt real strong and fast with the weight i ended last meets circamax with. 5 more training weeks.........
