That is based off of half city and half highway miles at 15,000 miles per year and at current gas prices. It can vary with the type of driving that's being done, but as you can see it's not really a good deal. ha

I know ... it breaks down much more often.

Butt the tow truck driver will appreciate the sophisticated interior (once he discerns from the exterior badging that it's knot a Corolla) before one of its many trips to the service shop.

which is why i am considering, for the first time, leasing a jetta for as long as the factory warranty lasts.

if it turns out to be a POS i can walk away from it when the warranty/lease expires.
