You know when parenthood isn't fun?

When you have this feeling (men always want to fix things) take deep breath and walk away.

No one likes it when their child is in pain, but there is an expression in my language, "It is better that you should cry now (meaning the child) than I should cry later (meaning the parent)." In other words our children will have to go through many things that will make them cry, but WE KNOW that if they don't then the child's future will be very sad indeed. When I applied this thought my emotions were less of frustration and more of "calm because we just gotta get through this unpleasantness. It WILL end."

... oh yea and what Stiletto said! LOL

Yeah, I've been doing that lately when she just fusses for no reason other than she's tired and is staying awake to fuss. It felt different this time because I know she was actually suffering instead of being rammy. Either way I know I need to let her work it out. Same as when she gets frustrated when I have her lay on her belly for her exercise. She's getting strong though.

You're right actually. She hasn't posted her because of the dooshey way mens here can be about wominz.

that's exactly right.
i'm not posting a pic of my daughter here. ever.

LOL Good... I remember them doing the "airplane" before they could roll over or begin to crawl. My one daughter used to do this thing we called "the swim". We would call her GI Jane because she sorta dragged her back legs while using her whole upper body to pull herself around. Last I saw this child she literally TOWERED over me. LOL

This past weekend I put her down for her nap when she didn't seem to think it was time yet. So I put her down, closed the door, cleaned a couple of bathrooms, and took a shower. I went in and checked on her and she had dragged herself to the opposite side of her crib and was laying on her side with the blankets everywhere. She's going to be such a handful.
