When you have this feeling (men always want to fix things) take deep breath and walk away.
No one likes it when their child is in pain, but there is an expression in my language, "It is better that you should cry now (meaning the child) than I should cry later (meaning the parent)." In other words our children will have to go through many things that will make them cry, but WE KNOW that if they don't then the child's future will be very sad indeed. When I applied this thought my emotions were less of frustration and more of "calm because we just gotta get through this unpleasantness. It WILL end."
... oh yea and what Stiletto said! LOL
Yeah, I've been doing that lately when she just fusses for no reason other than she's tired and is staying awake to fuss. It felt different this time because I know she was actually suffering instead of being rammy. Either way I know I need to let her work it out. Same as when she gets frustrated when I have her lay on her belly for her exercise. She's getting strong though.
