Kids are very perceptive and pick up on how you fell towards certain things from body language etc. I work with kids all day every day.....one thing you learn quickly is that kids have very good reasons for holding the opinions that they do....and it usually stems from the parents and how they respond to things.

You "work with kids". Kudos to you.... My first job was sunday school teacher to 4 y/olds at the age of 14. Could you successfully explain the concept of faith to a bunch of 4 y/os? Guess what?... I did it at FOURTEEN. I then worked at a nursery school, was a girlscout leader, wanted to become a kindergarten teacher, was a stayathome mom to several small children - am STILL their mother, and now write and illustrate books for children that deal with VERY adult topics. So spare me your sarcasm.

I work with kids that have had tough lives........not girl scouts. Kids from broken homes, abusive backgrounds.........kids going off the rails. The more I read of your posts the more similar it looks to the backgrounds of the kids I have to deal with. I cant believe you are sitting here defending this bullshit........

I am BEYOND sensitive to both verbal and noverbal communication when it comes to children because I WAS ONE OF THEM YOU FOOL... not because of some fucking piece of paper on a wall.

I DONT FUCKING TRUST ADULTS BECAUSE THEY ALL FUCKED ME.

It has taken alot of therapy for me to be able to separate abusive assholes from genuinely good people LIKE ME.

That is why children cling to me and trust me so much.... because I am NOT one of those abusive asshole adults that treat them like little doggies that dont know their assholes from a hole in the ground - I treat them with dignity respect kindness and the understanding that they need. And I try to protect what innocence they have left that the fucking stupidity of the adult world has stripped them of.
