You know, I never really think about sodium. :eek2: The muffins were homemade, so those were okay, but the rest of the stuff was pretty much crap. Thank you for pointing that out. :) :heart:

Ugh! I have been so sick this weekend! I actually called off work today. Yesterday I was layng on the couch all evening, hot then cold, with a cough, and a horrid sore throat. Thanks, CK! I just feel so bad because I haven't done anything since Thursday. :eek2: I did some yoga this morning, though, and if I do anything at the gym, I will keep it light, and I'll cut back on the number of sets. ;)

Trust me I went through, well I am sure everybody here has the same thing. But a wise, young Bunny told me the same and I am trying to pass on some of her great wisedom, probably not doing it as good as she does but you get the point! :)

Thanks, all, for the get well wishes. ;) I went to the Immediate Care Clinic today, and the doc said it was a virus, gave me a script for some antibiotics (I always thought antibiotics didn't work on viruses, but oh well. :confused: ), and gave me a list of OTC stuff to take along with it. I'm taking the day off from the gym, and I'm going to do 2 or 3 full body workouts when I get back this week. There's no reason to make myself feel sicker. Right now I'm debating on whether or not to go back to work tomorrow.

There's a powder that comes in a packet called Emergen'C - it's a fizzy drink (just mix it with water) and it's vitamins, minerals, etc - Really helps me feel better when I have that blah feeling from being sick....

I get it @ the drugstore, but I'm sure Walmart sells it - they sell everything!! I've found it really helps.....going to force my husband to start taking it today..... :evil:

Ugh! I used to hate that!! Maybe get a box of those wipes for your desk....I was reading the #1 cold prevention tip is washing your hands a lot and if you do have to touch public things - NOT to touch your face AT ALL until you can wash your hands.....

My husband has a cold now.... :rolleyes:

I always have my hands up around my face. :rolleyes: I've been using that Purell antibacterial gel like CRAZY today. Hopefully that will keep me well for a while. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you don't catch his cold. Ick.

I put equal parts of cottage cheese (I use FF), egg whites, and oats in a blender, then throw in some frozen berries and a couple scoops of protein powder, blend some more, then pour it into muffin cups and bake at 350 for about 30 minutes. :p YUMMY! They're not very good fresh out of the oven, but after a while in the fridge they're GOOOooood.

cindylou: I hope you like them. They tend to hollow out when you bake them in muffin cups. I think it works better if you bake it in a loaf pan thingy, then cut them into the desired size. :) Oh, and if you throw some extra berries in there (non blended) it makes them better!

The SB bars are pretty tasty! I'm not buying another box for a while, though. I eat too many of them. :lmao:

If SOAP was on cable there wouldn't be any of the movie left. Not only is there some "strong language" (haha) the nudity is pretty up there, too.

Hey peeps! ;) I am not going to log the today or yesterday because I'm being lazy. lol!! Tomorrow I'm starting a new workout plan (thank you, Shadow!), and I will post some new goals I hope to achieve within the next month.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut..... I went to the gym yesterday and played around quite a bit after doing a light chest workout. I attempted a chin up. Well, first I tried it with my palms facing me, and I did TWO! :elephant: :elephant: Then, I tried again with my palms facing away, and I got one out. I was so excited!!! I even did one with a wide grip, palms facing away. I struggled like crazy to do that one, but I did it! YAY!!!

New week, new goals!! :)
  1. Write down water intake/times in log!
  2. Be able to run 5 miles straight!
  3. Be able to do 10 pull ups (palms facing me)
  4. Be able to do 5 with palms facing away
That is all I have for now...


6:00 - 1 Stacker 3

6:30 - Treadmill: Ran 1 mile, walked .5 miles
I had planned on running 2-2.5 miles, but I guess being sick for a week took a bigger toll on my body than I expected. My endurance is pretty much shot again. I'll keep working on it, though.

2T FF Honey Dijon dressing :p

2:45 - 1/4c FF SF cheesecake pudding
8 blueberries
1/2 T light cool whip

OH MY GOD! :chomp: :chomp: Best snack ever... now I just have to figure out how to sneak some protein in there, so it can be a meal. lol!

Just throw in some protein powder with the dry pudding mix when you make it - you may need some extra milk, possibly tho......I use unflavored whey when I do this.....

Nope keep the flavored stuff... I do it too and the possibilities are endless :p ESpecially between the different kinds of SF/FF pudding mixes and different flavors of protein too... YUMMMMY

Hmmm.. Right now all we have is chocolate PP... maybe I'll try mixing that with chocolate pudding. :p The vanilla, cheesecake, blueberry concoction sounds yummy!

Yes yes yes, the cals are low. I missed a meal at work yesterday. I tried to make it up in peanut butter at night, but after 2 tablespoons I couldn't eat any more of it! :lmao:
