Why do some women get FAT after they been in a relationship for a while?

you guys are forgetting that its only 10 lbs?

have none of you ever flucuated 10 lbs? I know I have! Damn This does not mean she will be a fatass later - it just means she's let herself gain about 10lbs right now.

I only gained 20 lbs. when I was pregnant! I left hospital in my own jeans(unzipped).. but I could still get them on!!!!

Sorry, I can't relate to the yo-yo stuff.

Well, it's really NOT rocket science.

Eat right, get active in SOMETHING(ANYTHING)and stay fit. It's very simple if you love yourself enough. Right?

So true, it is all about loving yourself and valueing yourself.

It is really easy to get fat though.

All it takes is a 70 kcal/excess/day over 10 years and a chubby 21 year old is an obese 31 year old.

I put on A LOT of weight when I first moved to England, 50 lbs.

I have also put on too much fat off season before, thinking that I was 'bomb-proof', as I was for such a long time, no rebound after dieting.

I had to learn the hard way that there are no 'off' times when it comes to lifestyle. And that you can get fat eating really healthy food.

One or two cheats a week is fine, one or two months ++ of cheats are not.

i'm sorry but I dont think 10lbs is a big deal

she's still the same person - 10lb or no 10lb - reguardless if she likes it or not, she chose to be 10lbs heavier maybe she is okay with the gain.

if gaining weight became a pattern i could see that it would be a problem worth addressing though - being obese is not cool

Did you read Tat's thread above?

I see SO many people WHO think that ten pounds is NOTHING to worry about. The sad truth is, those ten lbs then become 20, 30, 40 lbs! My hubby was one of those people who said, " It's only 10 lbs. I can drop this poundage in no time". HA! He ended up 38 lbs. heavier in NO TIME flat due to HIS poor choices in his lifestyle!
