Who said said quad injections are painless?

If your looking for painless shots...go for the glutes man, much more meat to poke. I've ran a few cycles injecting every 3rd shot in my quads and most of the time regardless of what kind of juice your shooting it fucking hurts.

I LOVE quad injects - I can sit (in case somethign BAD happens), relax and see everything that is going on - gives me a chance to take my time and do it right. I never have had anything more than MILD discomfort - even up to 3cc's.

I find glute injections painless. With quad injections, however, I have had pain AFTER the shot every single time. The whole area around the injection site turns red for an area about the size of the palm of my hand and stays that way for a couple of days and it hurts like hell to walk. The shot itself doesn't hurt but afterwards, forget it! And I doubt it is technique as I have given thousands of injections and know how and where to do them. It also isn't the gear as it is U.S. made pharmaceutical right from the pharmacy. I guess we are all different though and some places work better in some than others.

On me its the oppisite. My glutes do this (swelling and red) but my quads nothing. The first couple of shots I took in my quads they were sore but by the fourth there was no pain at all.

My experience has been no pain when using EQ, minor pain when using Test Enanthate, and nearly intolerable when using Test Prop. Mixing EQ with TE makes for a comfortable injection. EQ with TP is still pretty tough. I read on a board some where where a gent suggested injecting vitamin B-12 at the same time as the AS. I've been doing that for a couple weeks and don't really notice any difference.

One thing I've learned from this is that once I finsh all the TP I have, I'll never, NEVER buy any more again.

You may want to rub on some ICY/HOT that seems to give some relief for a while.

Good luck Bro.

Yup me too. Depends on the gear. Cyp & Eq no pain most of the time. Prop & fina, ouch....I'm going glutes exclusively on this fina cycle, and virtually no pain there. Quads hurt like a bitch. Cyp only, quads are my spot of choice.

Getting the technique down is part of it to, but, type & amount of gear is the biggest factor....

elevate your leg prior to injection...have a HOT damp cloth ready to go for after the injection...hold the needle steady as hell while injecting, and make sure youre injecting in the proper place. Don't inject too fast. As soon as youre done press the HOT cloth over the site and massage gently while elevating your leg again. This might help alleviate some of your pain.

Thanks for the feedback but only ever had that severe pain when using the Ilium Stanabolic (Vet Stanozolol in Aus). Can use anything else anywhere else (regularly alt between glutes, pecs, delts and quads) and never feel a thing.

It could be technique or it could be the gear. What type of cyp are you running. I did a 1.5cc shot of t-400 in my quad yesterday and it's hurting like hell. It very well could be the amount of BA in your gear.

I have no trouble with pain after quad shots - it's getting the needle in there that hurts. For me, the skin on the thighs seems much tougher to get through and more pain sensitive. I still do them but always dread them...
