I squatted for a long time, many years that is, and I no longer squat, the only difference I can tell is that my legs are shaped a little different now. I use hack squats and hamstring curls only as my leg workout(other than calves of course) but that is because I do a lot of 2 mile runs and interval sprint work. But I havent lost and size at all off of my legs since I stopped squatting. I must also in all fairness tell you that I am genetically gifted in my legs so I may not count, I have tree stumps lol.
