Late with an empty stomach, what do you guys do... go from eating every 3 hours to maybe 1.30-2hrs to make sure you eat enough cals and protein for the day, or do you stay up later than usual and cut into your sleeping to get that extra meal or 2?:confused:
 
Hell, I remember a time when I would wake in the middle of the night for quick meal....

I'll eat a slower digesting protein last meal (egg whites)with a handful of almonds and I'm "good" until the 1st meal the next day.
 
Well yeah, thats cool. Eggs are more slow releasing than whey, casien is more slow releasing than both. The fat from the PB slows it even further. Its all about staying positive in nitrogen for as long as possible during sleeping hours.

Cottage cheese is a good shout if you want solid food
 
This is what I do, except for the peanut butter. I take a tbsp of liquid fish oil here instead. Sometimes I will just scramble up 6 whole omega eggs and eat those before bed :chomp:

You like your oils shakes as well if I remember right? Olive oil/ Flax/ fish oil + Casien/ whey is all good

This sucks on a workout day.

I would stay up later and eat. Food and sleep are both important, but my body demands calories more than it needs sleep.
 
Have to disagree, fell asleep this morning when I got out the shower and even though I only slept for about half an hour felt so much better than if I had eaten a meal, felt more energised too.
