OOK. Heres the deal..

Im planning on doing a show soon. Not sure either In Novemeber or March.

My problem is, My diet has been for a looooooong time the same. Basiacally 220-250 grms of Protein 20-100 grms of carbs (for the past 3 months my carbs have been 20-30 grms a day) and about 70grms of fat from Natty PB.

Now im not having problems gaining muscle, but im having problems staying hard. I feel very smooth.. :-( WHY? I am assuming its b.c of the carbs buut yesterday and today I ate about 100 grms of carbs and I still feel smooth. And I am not any more vascular then i was on low carb days.

My cycle right now is
100mg of Primo
100mg of EQ
100mcg of clen.

Im two weeks into this cycle. As soon as i started the EQ and Primo, my muscles got fuller the first day. Basically I look thick, but not Ripped:(

My question is, if i were to do a show,, Since my body is so used to being on somewhat of a contest diet for soo long i dont feel like i know how to become shredded. Because i would think now I would be since my diet is the way it is. Right? Im also holding a bit of water from the gear, but thats ook.. I just feel like no matter what i do, i can not get ripped.

Does that make any sense?

What do you guys suggest i do?

Like we told you before...back off the diet for a few weeks or a month...get those carbs back in 250gms or so....lay off the cardio if you are doing a lot now....and remember...ur not on a pre contests cycle/diet/cardio regime so how do you expect to be "hard" lol
...it is all right there in front of you....ur body adapted to ur diet...and the eq and primo most likely are adding the the "non hardness" that you are experiencing.

You may not listen to me....shit you may not listen to w6, but I KNOW he will also tell you to back off the diet for some time b4 resuming...and backing off means just that...backing off..no "cheating" ie... no "diet days" stick to being OFF the diet for an appreciable amount of time and thn start dieting again, say 4 weeks or so.

ps...what is the longest you have been on ZERO drugs in the past yr or so? and be honest? I wanna know that as well.

I was off the AS from the beginning of July to the second week of September. The EQ and Primo i thought was supposed to help harden me up no?

Im trying to go off my "diet" But honestly I dont know how..lol
What do i do, just eat 200 grms of rice and oatmeal? I just cant find a happy medium. How do you find out what works for your body? i have tried alot of different things, but always end up back to Low carbs. I havent been doing that much cardio. 20 min 4x's a week. I just started doing that b/c i was not sure if the EQ would make me retain water. So i added in some cardio to help.

I here eveyone say that they are stronger when they carb load, but I dont feel it. I feel like im more tired and have a bad workout:confused: I dont know im just pissed b/c i lost my workout partner:(

I agree with NYM.

If anything I'd start adding in a day with 200 - 250 g of carbs every 3 days or so and one day with around 150 g inbetween. Toss in a high glycemic index carb day once a week. One meal with some ice cream or fruit filled pie would be fine.

Protein is fine, cut out the peanut butter. 2 TEASPOONS of Flax is all you need to cover EFAs and additional fat.

I'd drop the Clen. Waste of money, too many possible sides, and short-lived effects, plus quick downregulation of beta-receptors because of its long half life. A basic EC combo is much better if you can handle it.

From what I'm told, the best pre-contest hardening combo is winny and Ox, and test and deca for off-season size. Personally I don't think primo or EQ are that effective as anabolic agents, particularly primo. Forget about a November show. Play around with the diet for the next few weeks and find what works. Then start prep about 12 weeks out for the March show. The less drugs you use, the better off you are.

Just my two cents.

Really you guys dont like Primo? I kinda like it..lol My wieght has been at 153 for a while now. Even since i started the EQ and Primo again. I have anavar as well. Do you think i should drop the Primo and run EQ @ 100mg and add in some var? I did winny before and I didnt think that made me all that hard. Maybe my definition of "Hard" is a little worped (sp). LOL

W6 and NYM, i am trying to not diet as much. I cut out the PeanutButter and added in some rice and carbs after my workouts. I will have to add the carbs in slowly, in order for me to "deal" with not dieting.

I'm probably wasting my time here but you have to go with what works for you, not what works for someone else (primo/var), you know best how your body responds to different AS. As far as diet, we talked about this endlessly, quit being afraid to eat carbs your noy going to blow up, and don't just eat them for two days and then go back to 20 per day. You have to change, your body is adapted to your diet.

A couple quick points because you've gotten the best advice from the experts on the board:

- Eq + primo? Have you tried Eq on its own? If yes, how did the results work? Do you need to get bigger? Any results from primo will just be overpowered by results from the eq so there's almost no reason to do both simulateneously.

- You said you have been on some sort of "pre-contest" diet most of the last year at least. Of course your body is going to adapt to it. That's why there is an "off season" approach and an "on-season" approach and that's why people call it "cycling" - NO ONE looks in contest shape 100% of the time. You plan your contests and your prepping diet, supps, training, etc. with the LONG view in mind. Contest prep is EXTREMELY FUCKING ROUGH on your system and you have to plan accordingly -- take care of yourself during your pre-contest diet-- take the right regular supps to help recover, get enough sleep, train correctly so you get the most out of your training to build the parts you need to build for symmetry and recover as well. And also plan your off time as well. The long er you spend artificially manipulating your body and hormones, the harder you are gonna rebound or burn out if you aren't lettign yourself recover accordingly.

And BTW, also please check which shows you are doing and which are tested and which aren't. Its fuckin obvious who is "on" and who '"snt'", and it isn't fair for the natty competitors in a natty show.

And like W6 said, "Less is More" :)
