training while sick...

2nd week into my training cycle, gained another 41bs body weight, and my diet is really starting to shred me up, all of a sudden I feel like complete doo-doo, what's the rule, train through what feels like a friggin nice case of flu, or recover first then train? Help, it's frustrating!

recover then train, training while sick will only delay your ability to get well plus you could cause others to get what you have as well. I would take a few days rest.

I just got over a bad cold. trained for a week adn it jsut got worse took a week off and I am feeling great again and only lost 2 pounds not to bad

Here's a rule I follow that works for me.

Sick from the head up(sneeze, stuffy nose, headache)-train.
Sick from the head down(stomach ache, runs etc)-do not train.

Do not train if you get dizzy or blurred vision!

Yeh

I agree with big4rt

I find when I have a stuffy nose or sinus probs or any kind of head cold, which isnt often..

I dont feel like lifting at all, but then I lift, and feel like a million bucks!

Remember the effects lifting has on your entire system. Lift hard, and rest well. Should get thru it no problem.
