Too much for Biceps?

I do my biceps after chest and i switch up with 2 routines

Routine A:
Barbell Curls 10 8 6
Seated Alt DB curls 12 10 8
Rope hammer curls 10 8

Routine B:
EZ Bar Preacher Curls 12 10 8
Lying Cable Curls 10 8
Hammer Curls 12 10 8

I use to only do 2 exr. with 6 sets but I stopped seeing good results and my intensity was intense so i decided to add another exr.
 
You gotta trust me on this. Isolation bicep exercises should be used only on occasion. Hit your upper back hard (pullups/pulldowns/rows) with various grips and believe me your biceps will grow.
 
I agree that biceps will grow by working back hard but........

You need some good compound movements to hit the biceps. I"m sure you notice that after a good back workout your biceps can't be trained with heavy weights.

I think your routine looks okay. BTW....how much can you curl ...eg. x lbs for x reps?

I'm 17 and my best is 90 lbs for 6 reps...at the end of my arm workout...standing barbell curls Not bad but not the greatest.
 
Pick one of the routines and stick to it until it stops working.

Something like:

Barbell Curl-2-3x6-10
Hammer Curl-2-3x6-10
 
I am 15 and i can curl 85 for 8 reps.


Cackerot... thats the routine I use to do for about a month and a half now and I have stopped seeing results.
 
Oh here we go:

This was posted on fitness online, I tried it and it works great.

Standing barbell curls 4 sets of 8.
Preacher curls...seated 4 sets of 6 to 8
Dumbell preacher curls 3 sets of 8 per arm

Try that for about 8 weeks it says. Once a week. It takes a while to complete all that but you WILL see results. After about 4 weeks you probably can adjust the weight.
