This is a recipe I found on line for a good protein shake, anybody try this?

1 cup oatmeal, raw - 2 tbl spns whey protein - 1/2 tea spn cinnamon -2 tbl spns maple syrup 1 tbl spn chopped almonds- 1 3/4 cups of milk- 1/2 banana

Looks tasty. I imagine it would taste kind of like banana bread. I would increase the whey protein content of the recipe. 2 tablespoons of whey protein is very little. You are going to want to use at least 5-6 tablespoons to get a decent amount of protein in the shake.

What I like to do is make a bowl of oatmeal and then stir in the protein powder. It tastes like those oatmeal packets you used to eat as a kid that were full of sugar.

One of my favourite recipes is to make a bowl of oatmeal and stir in vanilla whey protein and pumpkin pie spice. I then top the oatmeal with crushed almonds and granny apple slices. It tastes just like an apple pie. Really really good.
