Yeah, I'm minutes away from that wonderful time myself. I too notice a significant drop in endurance and am more prone to feeling achy all over. Most of the time, I just work through it and find that a hard, sweaty cardio session does wonders for my mood and for relieving some of that water retention.
My big problem around that time is controlling the appetite increase and wild cravings. I have heard that your metabolism increases and that you can burn up to an extra 500 cals a day around that time, but I'm not sure I'd trust myself to eat according to my hunger pangs and cravings.

Now it seems I'm paranoid of eating too few cals in a day (fear of losing muscle mass) and am still very hung up on measuring my food. This, of course, flies in the face of trusting one's body and makes me feel that I have to clean my plate at most meals. Help. Any suggestions?
