Symmetri question..

Molle_23

Since I bagan with bodybuilding 7-8 years ago, I've always had problems with the symmetri. And now we talk seriously difference between the leftside and the rightside of the upper body ! Especially triceps and shoulders, are very unsymmetrical !

My right biceps are 14 inchesand my left are 12.2 inches !!!! I haven't been training for a long time, but will be serious with it now again and don't want to begin to gain even more on the right side again.

So what have I made to improve it?
I tryed testo for two months - only training the leftside, I tried Deca/testo mostly training left side, and I've taken Primabolan/Deca as well. Nothing seems to work !

What the fuck should I do ??? Will soon start a new round with Deca and some mix and hope somebody with eperience or knowledge of this kind of problems can give me some advice...

I don't understand. How did you lose everything you gained from gear (assuming you were heavier than in your pic as you suggested)? Did you stop training for a while or something?

I got sick in Spain, some kind of stummage disorder after taking deca & sus. And the illness lasted for almost 2 weeks, didn't eat or nothing. Lost 26 lb - damn. Didn't really get my motivation back after that !!!

Never Sus or Deca for me again, I belive that Sus is making your immune defence weaker.

However, can somebody please help me what to do about my symmetri problems???

You've been training for 7-8 years? No offense, but you dont look like it. Try eating some food and hitting the gym. Do bicep exercises with dumbells instead of bars so each arm gets worked equally. Eventually your lagging body part will get up to size.

Check out exactly which parts of your body are asymetrical compared to your other side.

you say your right arm measures 14" and your left measures 12.2. So is your left bicep, or your left tricep the smaller one?

Also remember that your body wants to be symmetrical (acording to it's genetics of course) so if you only work your arms, then you will have symmetry problems because the rest of your body needs to catch up.

maybe you can post your basic workout routine?

Hi Freshr1,

well I have been doing some kind of training for most of the time since I began. But not weightlifting all the time, only one and off. 1-2 years serious, then some soccer/volleyball/swimming/thaiboxing and other stuff.

My problem is that I'm a student, hmm, and most of the students in my town don't work out. That means it's hard to get a trainingpartner here ! I used to exercise with some of the best fitness guys before I was a student, and then I got much more motivation and continuous. Have been almost off weightlifting for a year right now and are very week & thin. Gotta find a partner and a good trainingprogram and some continuous on it.

Future One, thanks for helping !

My left side is the problem side. I'm lots weeker and much thiner on that side. Not the lower part, but on the upper body I am.

Especially my triceps are damn week. (If I would go for maximun, I would say I'm about 25-35 % weeker in the left arm (triceps).

But also my shoulder are not symmetric, neither my back and biceps. Shoulders are about 20-30 % difference between the left and right (They grow really fast, I used to have huge shoulders).

Biceps I have a much higher "peak" and "can" take about 49 lb in the right hand and about 39 lb in the left hand (biceps curl, dumbbell).

I use to do a lot of supersets in all kind of arm practice, mostly using both arms at the same time. I find it hard to only go for one arm and totally skip the other arm (rest the right arm).

My pecks (breast) are symmetrical though. Dunno why.

Hope you can help me Furure One/Molle

Usually assymetry like this is a result of some form of nerve damage. I would consult a doctor and have him run some tests to see contraction responses to resistance, etc..
