I think Brad can pull around 500 maybe...not sure.

He is an Arborist...not a logger:)

The 58 year old man who kept moving around the duck walk implement and picking up the weights on the Hercules Hold...is an Arborist too:)

Brad has pulled a bunch more than that on the 18 inch deadlift. Brad is a freind of mine. I talk to him at least once a week. His stone lifting is what impresses me. For such a short guy with short limbs to move a big stone is amazing to me.

And it is no coincidence to me that he is one of, if not THE best under 200 lb strongman around. He does landscaping, and cuts and hauls limbs all the time. That stuff tends to make you pretty strong and very well conditioned.

he's incredible to watch. and a super nice guy. he gave my wife a shirt to wear at Dardenfest becuse he thought the hussefelt stone would scratch her up with the one she had on.

i love watching him load stones. i saw him load all 5 stones........(last one being 310lbs) in nashville. he was the only lightweight that could do that.

then this last weekend....... he loaded the 165 and 185 stones on a 5'1 platform (brad is 5'4) and then the 190/230/245/265/and the 285 stone. he quit becuase he was the last person to go in the light weight class and no one else had even loaded the 265 stone.

I think I saw Brad pull in the mid 6's from 18" before. He is just strong from head to toe. How many solid 200 pound guys do you know that are 5'4" :)

He just finds a way...no excuses...just finds a way.

hey thanks for all the replys. it is true i am just working on ideas for how to focus my training. b-fold asked me before how strongman was affecting my trainign and how i was gonna change. before i was like no problem i just gon do my old westside stuff with slight changes and add events. well now 2 weeks into it i have missed 2 weeks starit of gym due to bicep tenson injuries. i am seeing i am gonna have to change and cut back so i just looking for ideas and woundered about this one. i will get back to the drawing board and let yall know when i figure out my routine;) i am also a mechanic and it seems i reinjure myself everyday that i work so that may be what my problem is. if i fix injury by not working for a few days and then hit my old routine with the events i may be able to do it but only time will tell.
