Stop training post cycle?!?

After a sust/deca cycle, do you need to stop training for a while in order to avoid high cortisol levels? Completely stopping or is a Light-Moderate workouts 3 times a week still ok?

I've read once that you should stop training for 2 weeks, 2 weeks after last injection. But ain't sure about it.

Cortisol levels rise dramatically after 1 hour while test levels drop off so keep your workouts as hard as you can but keep them intense to reduce the length of workout and IMO three times a week is plenty to stimulate muscle growth or keep your gains as rest is even more important now that you are no longer in an artificial state of anti-catabolism!

I'm not sure about the cortisol levels issue, but you shouldn't stop completely after a cycle as this will be harmful for you psychologically and physically. It is true that you'll loose your desire to workout after a cycle but you should keep doing it. IMHO, you should workout as hard as you did in your cycle for about 2-3 weeks after your last shot and then decrease the intensity and frequency afterwards and maybe take 1-2 weeks off to give your body a chance to fully recover, but never stop completely after a cycle.

I have definately read somewhere that cortisol levels do increase dramatically during prolonged bouts of exercise which makes sense when you look at the physique of an endurance athlete!

I've always had a f*ck of a time working out post cycle. This last time I didn't hit the weights at all once I started clomid but instead did a high intensity 20 minute run on the treadmill every 2nd day for two weeks then went back to the iron pumped and motivated. The cardio seemed to keep my spirits up and my muscles pumped as well. Next time I'm gonna do two weeks of clen post clomid as well. Will post results.

peace all

My thoughts are since you probably omitted taking every eigth week off during your cycle (at least i know i did) then you might want to take the first week off right after your cycle and then when you come back you can rework your workouts into something more normal than ones you might do while on gear. Meaning, my cycle just ended, 10 full weeks, no weeks off during cycle, I'm pretty shot i ate huge and worked hard 5 days a week, now im taking the first week off after my cycle to rework my workouts and figure how how slowly to decrease my food levels to maintain as many much of what i gained as possible, I would continue to eat in the same manner as you were on cycle at least up until the week you being clomid.

YUM
