Squatting 3 or 4 times a week?

Would this be counter productive? I am doing the Big Beyond Belief routine, on a four day split. I have to work thighs 4 days a week (at this time) and wondered if only performing 3 sets a workout, if squats only would be beneficial?

BBB is an older routine from Leo Costa/Tom Platz. The original that came out if I remember back in 93-94 was called Serious Growth. BBB is a bit different and I only have a photocopy of the four day split. It is an 18 week routine as follows:

Ramp 1, Week one:
Day 1:
(3) Back
(3) Chest
(3) Bicep
(3) Calf
Rest 120 seconds between sets 13-15 reps per set
Day 2:
(3) Delts
(3) Tricep
(3) Thighs
(3) Abs
Rest 120 seconds between sets 13-15 reps per set
Day 3:
3 Back
3 Chest
3 Thighs
1 delts
2 calves
1 bicep
1 tricep
Rest 120 seconds between sets 10-12 reps per set
Day 4:
3 Thighs
3 Chest
3 Back
1 Delts
2 Calves
1 Tricep
1 Bicep
Rest 120 seconds between sets 8-10 reps per set

Ramp 1, Week two:
Day 1:
(4) Back
(4) Chest
(4) Bicep
(4) Calf
Rest 90 seconds between sets 13-15 reps per set
Day 2:
(4) Delts
(4) Tricep
(4) Thighs
(4) Abs
Rest 90 seconds between sets 13-15 reps per set
Day 3:
4 Back
4 Chest
4 Thighs
1 delts
2 calves
1 bicep
1 tricep
Rest 90 seconds between sets 10-12 reps per set
Day 4:
4 Thighs
4 Chest
4 Back
1 Delts
2 Calves
1 Tricep
1 Bicep
Rest 90 seconds between sets 8-10 reps per set

There is the first two weeks it would take me a while to type it all out but if you are interested I will work on it. There is another workout of his that is newer call the Titan Training system and that is a bit different than this as well. You end ou getting out of the gym in under an hour most days.

I know I can't recover that quick with any body part. After a good leg day, it takes me a good three to four days till they are fully recovered...but thats me.

Depends on if you are going for strength or size. Many Olympic lifters do their lifts several times a week. Some of the pro level lifters, such as the bulgarians lift every day of the week, and max. I wouldn't recommend that though- they are elite athletes and are so juiced it isn't funny.

For bodybuilding? No.

I still think it is their superior genetics, and carefully built up GPP over many years that allows Bulgarians to squat multiple times a day even. The juice is secondary.
