could be bicep tendonits....... i had it and its pretty much all healed now. maybe you might remember me telling you about it. its on the top part of my bicep/forearm. that pain was the reason i quite doing jm presses. put your hands out wider is the only advice i have for you. the thumb/thumbless grip didnt make a big differnece, it has a lot to do with the position of the arm.
