^^^ cut down the carbs gradually , on that particular cycle you should be able to get away with doing that without losing energy/glycogen issues.
also steer clear of sugars and salts.. i'm sure you know this but in case someone else reads fruit is sugar, bread is sugar, cereals have sugar, hell even oatmeal has sugar (unless you buy pure oats) restaurant food is smothered in salt and should be avoided as much as possible. know what you are eating. I had friends in town and the only restaurant we could find without a wait was carrabas and gained 4 pounds from that one meal (italian food so good but so damn carb rich). people who eat that shit on a regular basis i don't know what to tell them, thats why we have an obesity epidemic.
when you get hungry stuff your face with green veggies and drink a shitload of water. as tempting as it is to eat a pizza or a burger gotta be disciplined.
as far as workouts speed it up and lower the weights so you don't need much rest in between sets. get the heart pumping and burn away those excess cals. i never used to beleive in that shit but after experimenting it really works and you can drench yourself in sweat with a sped up workout.
no reason why you won't reach your goal easily, will be keeping an eye on you so don't let us down (no pressure bro)
