So i injected into a vein

doing my shot todayin my left quad, aspirated as usual, got about 2cc's already in, and then i feel this weird shooting pain run down my whole leg, as if a ball was travelling in my vain. so i stop pushing, and pull back on the plunger, and sure enought i get a half a cc of blood. i got freaked out a bit and waited for a minute to see whats going to happen. nothing. so i moved the pin in deeper and kept going.

does anyone know how much oil you would have to shoot into a vein to harm yourself, or even die?

You probably hit a nerve or put pressure on a nerve, happened to me a few times.

You don't have enough in the syringe to cause you to die. You'll simply get light headed and not feel well for a while.

thanks Ulter, i feel fine. i just got that weird pain in my leg and i felt something travel right down to my foot. not a horrible pain, just strange feeling.

It may have just been the depot being pushed through your muscle by the blood coming from the vein you hit. If you injected straight in there is little chance you wouldn't feel it.
