i'm saying she might find that offensive. women are very sensitive when it comes to things like that.

example, if a woman asks you if you think she is fat and you don't answer her with a no right away. to her it's the same thing as saying yes.

skin cancer is no joke boys and girls.....gotta friend that has it and she is always going in getting cut and stiched up all the time......dam feel bad for her, but she takes it pretty well.

No kidding...I was talking to a lady the other day who lost a son to skin cancer. She was saying that it started on his lip. He ended up having his whole jaw bone removed on one side of his face. He was only 47.

I live in sunscreen.

If I remember correctly, she said it spread down into the bone or nerve??? not sure. Anyway, they removed the bone on one side of his jaw and made him a new jaw from part of his leg bone. That eventually had to be removed and he could only chew on one side of his face and his teeth eventually fell over on that side from no support.

She said it started on his lip and he always had pain in his chin. If you have any strange spots on your skin..get them checked out.

DO NOT USE SUNSCREEN!!!

There's another theory behind skin cancer. It's not as simple as "don't go in the sun". That's just stupidity. We need sunlight to be healthy (ie vitamin D).

The nations with the highest rate of skin cancer are the ones who PROMOTE sunscreen use heavily. Sunscreen is not as beneficial as you are led to believe because they do NOT block UVA rays (these rays penetrate deeper into the skin). Sunscreens primarily block UVB rays, which do not penetrate as deeply into the skin as UVA rays. More importantly, most sunscreens contain very harmful FREE RADICAL generators in their ingredients that are activated via ultra violet light (ie the sunlight). So you're slathering all this crap on yourself only to have the free radicals activated from the sunlight. Yeah that's smart. Another thing people do not realize is that when using sunscreen you tend to stay in the sun longer then you should.

Another idiotic thing about tanning is that most people who do not have the genetics for dark/tanned complexion are the ones who tan heavily. My dad, who is almost 70, has spent his entire life in the sun (moreso then any of you will ever in your lifetimes). He doesn't even know what the hell sunscreen is and he's fine as a goat. Point being, he is from an equator nation, so his skin is more sun tolerant. Too many pastey white pale asses trying to look like they're from the Carribean.

SO WHAT'S THE POINT:

1) Sunscreen isn't as beneficial as you think and may in fact INCREASE skin cancer.

2) Use common sense people!! If you don't have the genetics for a tanned complexion, STOP SPENDING HOURS IN THE SUN AND TRYING TO LOOK GOLDEN! Duh!
