Sick.. any suggestions?

I just wanted to know what I can do to keep the calorie intake up, while being sick. I have no appetite what so ever. The flu fucking sucks! Should I stop training while sick? Im trying to get an anti-biotic today from the doc. I guess I should just consume a lot of liquids? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i was really sick last week...i went to the gym, but my workouts sucked. i think my body just needed some rest. i know how much it sucks having zero appetite!

listen to your body! don't try to force a workout if you're feeling too sick & weak. can you handle chicken soup? shred up some extra chicken breasts and put them in there for the protein.

hope you get better soon!! then you can get back into the gym and with some kick ass workouts to make up for the days you missed!

hmm chicken soup with extra chicken breast.. sounds pretty damn good actually. thats probably all that i will eat here in the next week. ive actually heard that working out while being sick can prolong the sickness.. is this true at all? thanks for the tip Shak!

Soup seems like a good idea. A while ago, someone I work with had to have a few lab tests done, and they could only drink clear liquids. I told them to try out Isopure protein (and the pre-made drinks), because it mixes clear, and can provide agood serving of whey. This might work in you case (instead of juices or something to mix in soup).
