Shirted up for first time....

use static contraction to get past that "mental barrier of yours"

before your max effort bench day...... have a good spotter around...... load up 315lbs on the bench........ dont be scared..... you could do a lot more than that...... unrack it and hold it just short of lockout for 2 sets of 5-10 seconds then put 200 on the bar and laugh as you press it up.

trust me on this one...... what have you got to loose???

i've tried static holds before.... usually at the end of my workout though so i dont waste too much energy.... i'll give it a try though

should i do the static holds with the shirt, and how long should i wait until i go for 200
