Serious thread bitches, I am at my wits end

My next recommendation would be to get a pain block. The first one or two almost never takes. If you're not getting 2-3 months of relief from your third block, it's time to look at more drastic measures.

And if it was successful he'd have to repeat this procedure every 2-3 months indefinitely?

Back surgery is never a pleasant option, but if it's "unbearable" it maybe the necessary. Defining "unbearable" can only be answered by SB.

Shoot me a PM bro on where to send the MRI to and I will let you see it.

I have already had 3 of the pain blocking injections, My Doc said he would only administer 4 in a years time, I haven't made a year as of yet. I guess I could go get the 4th one. And unberable for me I assume is pretty high. When they gave me my spinal tap, the hole never sealed and I leaked spinal fluid for 3 weeks afterwards and had what is called Post Lumbar Headaches. I had them for 3 weeks hurt so bad I would puke on myself if I was somewhere that I couldn't lay down to relieve the preassure. I had what they called a blood patch done, where they inject your own blood back into your spine to seal the hole. The doctor told me he had never seen a human being go more than 3 or 4 days with Post Lumber Headaches, that me going 3 weeks meant I was either the toughest sumbitch he had ever seen or the dumbest.

You're stronger than me bro. I'd be a stone cold oxy junkie.

Aight me or Plunkey?

ololololst8!

j/k

I have a lady friend who has a Ph.D in Health Sciences and is married to an M.D.

Her story rivals yours in terms of enduring pain.

She's battled Lupus for 20 yrs. and refuses conventional treatments, e.g. high-dose corticosteroids combined with immunosuppressive drugs unless she can't literally get out of bed.

In the long run she's fared better than most who have autoimmune diseases by living clean and alternative therapies.

I know there's no correlation between her plight and yours, just wanted to share a story of inner strength and remind you that conventional medical wisdom isn't always best.
