Self examinations are important. Please read...

testicular cancer is a young man's disease..many cases are filled at the Armed Force Institute of Pathology because they were picked up on routine physical on military personnel..it is imperative for young guys to check their nads for a lump and see a doc immediately...some cancers are virulently malignant and other less malignant, but need surgery and follow=up radiation as needed

male breast cancer

Although rare, male breast cancer is almost never
talked about as it is commonly believed that it only occurs with women-WRONG! Any unusual discharge or pain from a hardened lump in the male chest should be
checked by a physician.

I thought I had the same a while ago went to the doc to get it check out 'thank fuck' I didn't ....well done bro pretty scary shit

Thanks, I was lucky in as much as when I discovered mine, Lance Armstrong, Scott Hamilton, and John Kruk were in the news, so my family and friends understood a lot about it. I'm not trying to get anyone paranoid, it's not that common - but it is by FAR the most common cancer for men under 40. It is possibly the most curable when detected.

If you want to play it safe, this site has some interesting info, including how to do a self-examination - and just ast in 'breast exams' getting your partner involved is probably the best way to go. ;)

well this past wed I went in for a physical and some blood work. I'm only 21 and never gave this a second thought until the Dr. told me that this form of cancer wasn't very comon but at my age if I were to get cancer this was it.

Thankgoodness for the tom green special though it was a bit gross of his attitude, but I'm alot more aware now and will not take my 2 little friends for granted anymore
