ya gotta stop worrying about macroeconomics and just do your thing
a lot of people who bitch and moan about the economy are people who still were losers even when the unemployment rate was 4% and the economy was growing 22M jobs during the clinton years.
yes a good economy does help because people spend more and service based industries hire people instead of fire, but that doesn't mean if you are talented and smart you won't make it in any economy. also you have 3 jobs, why? get rid of 2 of them and focus on just 1 job and a business on the side. you are spending your entire day working for peanuts and wasting time... its just like i told my X who was a bartender at 30, she was in school for accounting and taking 1 or 2 classes a semester.. i told her do you want to be 45 years old and still a bartender? or do you want to be an experienced accountant? so you can either cut back on your bartending job and take on more classes, or keep delaying the inevitable. she would work from 12-11 ... do your school work till 3 or 4.. then sleep till 10 and go to work again.. wth kind of life is that?
unlike others on here i see a lot of potential in you, i just hate to see you wasting it working at a hotel and at chili's. you gotta decide if you want to be 30 and still doing this, or if you want to be doing something you enjoy.
and to answer your question definately medical is the future, technology is always evolving.. these 2 industries will always be hot as long as people keep getting sick and geeks keep demanding better gadgets
