Simply because I can.

Lean mass is climbing rapidly, no burnout, and digestion is staying consistent because I run a structured system (BML loop) designed specifically to handle extremely high carbohydrate loads without spillover.

I'm not just relying on post workout windows to absorb carbs.
I'm training my body to handle massive glycogen and glucose intakes across the entire day even during non-optimal performance windows. And yes it’s possible when glucose partitioning and nutrient timing are all dialed in properly. For needed peak competition windows i know my body will use what I give it not inefficiently store it.

High carbs only become a problem when the body can't use them in my case they're fueling strength gains recovery and continuous lean mass growth with no fat spillover.

That was the plan and so far the results are beyond what I could've expected.

After initial phase I weighed in 219.. 3 days of 300 carbs dropped me to a 213lb base which I held pretty close to through bridge till NPP/Tbol. First 10 days i went right up to 223.. partitioning working well and still showing decent abs some mornings. Lower back still not spilling over. @rüd I'm not sure that doing those types of powders is gonna help your digestion. Powders are really hard to digest and your body tends to reject them a lot. I would stick to whole quality single ingredient Foods.

I have 0 GI issues mixing my carb powder with milk, almond milk, coconut water etc.. I dont always have the Mutant Mass in the mix but had a giant bag of it and in small doses it doesn't bother me. This is whole foods just easier and faster to consume and costs about 1/4 of what any mass gainer or carb powder does (at least where I have shopped). Put this blend together from a few buys from Amazon and my local BulkBarn.

Im still consuming 750-900 grams of carbs a day and protein in between 250-300. Im mostly shakes for breakfast/lunch. Homemade banana bread, protein cookies, fruit for snacks. Ive been using fortified milk (1-2L) a day. Standard protein sources are whey/caseing protein, ground beef, had to reduce chicken breast simply due to over consumption, ground turkey/ground pork sausage in my own sausage mixture that tastes great on wraps, rice or paired with greens. I also added in powdered greens every day as I dont always feel like eating the amount I have needed. So yes I do eat my vegetables daily but dont have to force them in I just eat what feels natural for amount.

I did a weigh in after I posted this yesterday and Im actually sitting at 230 even. I have week before competition so I am aligned just about perfect for weigh in. Ill cycle a bit of Halo a few days out and the day of comp (yes I am fully stacked for liver care and have an aftermath protocol in place). Ill be halting all orals for a week after comp and beginning of Primo front load. 600mg primo first week and then 400 a week after for a full 8 week cycle.. I will layer in anavar 30-50 a day depending on how my body likes the combination to get everything carved into place.

Well I went from Maintenance Millwright to Maintenance Manager and I was left with a mess and no record of a preventative maintenance program. Down CNC machines with Jerry rigged safety sensors and half stock of needed parts to fix half the problems I was left with.. yeah. I'm just glad I've streamlined my macros or else nutrition would've been first thing that suffered.

its not that bad at all compared to others i have seen. i wouldn't consume xanthan gum or dex corn sugar at all. i don't want either in my body

Oooo00ooo.. I like me some dextrose. Wicked pumps when you add to your pre workout shake and intra workout water.

Xantham gum just keeps the mix from clumping.. a tablespoon or so in 10lb is worth it in my books.

in the USA we get so much dex thats the issue. you guys in Australia have completely different food quality. i wouldn't recommend an american or canadian add more dex or simple carbs to their diet since we already get more in 1 day then we should in a year lol

I definitely have honey in my diet with snacks and what not. When I started using dexteose as a driver for protein pre and post I had to remind myself there is a huge difference between corn syrup and dextrose. It felt unnatural for sure but when timed properly and used for what it does ive found it to be an extremely useful tool. Some have issues with their guts using it but I haven't so it's a win.. took a few weeks of not gaining fat for me to be convinced it wasn't a bad idea for sure.

Honey for extended energy sure.. but pre, intra and post gym dextrose is THE tool for driving muscle.

Dextrose = fast power

If you use it as a tool not a sweetener then I am sorry that is incorrect. I'm not sipping sugar water sitting on the couch. I am not insulin resistant. Dextrose timed with physical demand is using it as a tool and it becomes leverage for nutrient drive not candy.

It's not theory.. it's just how the body works.

Honey is 100% fantastic for long sessions in the gym, hiking or a work day. If you're in competition and need instant fuel or want a pump like you've never had before in the gym... dextrose.

Would the the var, pro and t-bol not provide adequate means for pump?
 
OP is using those 3 for this cycle but also mentions the use of dextrose and the great pumps it provides. I would’ve thought those 3 forms of tabs would’ve provided more than enough for pumps, which would eliminate the need to use dextrose.

Apples and oranges. Var, Pro, and Tbol may help with vascularity and fullness, but they don’t replace the metabolic pump driven by substrates like dextrose and creatine. That kind of pump isnt just cosmetic it's functional. You're force-feeding energy and nutrients to the exact tissue under stress. That’s what creates lasting performance and recovery, not just blood volume.

Just finished first strongman competition last weekend.. static strength was excellent in comparison but being new I had some trouble with technique with the implements. Just joined a strongman gym and have been running drills. Next comp is tomorrow and then was extended an invitation for provincials middle of August. Went right up to 229 BW before competition, dropped 250-300g carbs a day thinking I was done till provincials but was shoed in as a late entry for this one tomorrow. I had dropped to 219bw in 3 days so I've been pounding carbs to get glycogen stores back up.. dunno what my weigh in tomorrow will be.

Maintenance right now for training.. not pushing PRs as my tendons haven't yet caught up and I am feeling it. Running bpc and tb500 for Elbows.. everything else is keeping pace. Lots of band work and speed drills.. focusing on speed lockout and transfers. I can clean 225-235 for ohp but with axle have had to switch to belt cleans. I started primo and will run npp 75 eod till provincials to keep everything lubed up.. no gyno flares with the Proviron and supps doing their jobs. I'll finish out polishing physique after mid August.

I look pretty good and I feel light on my feet so right now happy with progression.

Not bad.. these events are always mid weight points for weight. Usually 6-12 reps after lead up weights/carries/runs timed under a minute

I had a false start and had to pull 325 twice and got stutter started on a few pulls doing dead lift. My fault really due to being new to the sport and not watching refs. Still pulled 325x2 375 then 405x6 in under 60 seconds. I would've had alot more in me but confusion bled me hard not being able to get a good rhythm. Following weekend I still pulled 365x11 in a minute but I was gassed with back to back events.

I'm doing 600 a week Primo, 75mg eod npp, with 30 anavar/20 tbol. This combo is feeling awesome for continued strength and mass gains and solidifying the fascia while keeping joints lubricated for easy recover. I'll do this till comp next month then taper the npp and turf the tbol. Finish the polishing on Primo and anavar into September.

Next year I will be in weighted class u105kg. The weight will start to surpass what I am capable of. Currently I have not yet started using switch grip for dead lift in competition and have not yet failed to do a lift. Statically in my current class I am overbuilt. I look forward to failure and refinement of strength and form that will absolutely be necessary to keep up with my peers. This has surpassed simply running a cycle and getting stronger.. the true athleticism im surrounded by in these competitions is staggering sometimes. Technique, strategy, inflammation mitigation, cns management, mental preparedness, nutrition, timing peaks and a host of other things has become my life over the past few months and I have just broke ground into this sport.

Ha! Im even looking at women differently. Im like DAM she's carrying some serious glycogen!! That slight wobble means a whole different thing to me all of a sudden when I watch a chick throw around a 150lb sand bag.

Go for it man.. I love to see a guy step out of his lane to try something new. You'll do good or get humbled real fast. Its not about lifting weight its about moving with speed under weight in an all day event.. stop starts no continual pump and momentum you can create for 60-90 seconds. If that sounds like your kind of thing you'll love it.
