WOW taylor looked good, incredible hand speed
Not as fast as Roy in his hay day but still damn fast
Looked like Hopkins was taken by surprise by Taylors aggression
The Hopkins fight was at 160lbs which helped Hopkins which is around his natural weight I think Hopkins did enough to win he did shit for the 1st 6 rounds but I think he did enough to win Talyor clearly got beat from 8-12 last time I heard you have to take a belt from a champion not lose the last 4 rounds and still get the win ask DelaHoya about that beat Trindad up for 9 rounds loses the last 3 and they give it to Trindad. As for the greatest middleweight Sugar Ray fought as a welterweight for the 1st 10 years of his career and never lost he started losing when he became a middleweight the greatest middleweight was Marvin Hagler or Hopkins Jones didn't fight there long enough his 1st 20 fights where as a middleweight after that he moved up the greatest light-heavyweight probably I liked to see him against Michael Spinks or Bob Foster but Roy would probably win. I think Reluctant Roy beats Tarver this time around.bruce410 said:just as i thought the other champions had no clue like gatti tzyu and trinidad bernard was showing heart but being foolish, look at the tale of the tape, jermaine has 16 inch biceps to bernards 13 inchers. jermaine is natty 171 bernard had to eat like crazy for that 168 weigh in. there is a lot of hype about him being the best middleweight altime, many say sugar ray robinson was, however, if you look back middleweight roy jones jr. was the most dominant fighter in that weight class. destroying hopkins and toney with a broken right hand. he would have killed any middleweight bar none, hagler would have been a good fight with roy. healthy rested roy will woop tarver i bet on it. jermaine is a great athlete but not anywhere near as able as roy was to connect and destroy at will. though he will be at the upper echelon for a good while
i love you mookie, in that brother sort of way. thanks for backin roy, hagler was a badass i know thats your favMookie said:The Hopkins fight was at 160lbs which helped Hopkins which is around his natural weight I think Hopkins did enough to win he did shit for the 1st 6 rounds but I think he did enough to win Talyor clearly got beat from 8-12 last time I heard you have to take a belt from a champion not lose the last 4 rounds and still get the win ask DelaHoya about that beat Trindad up for 9 rounds loses the last 3 and they give it to Trindad. ye ye yea, fuck tarver. one thing mookie are you sure about ray robinson being a welter, i think your thinking of ray leanord. anyway hell yea its on like donkey kong, no mercy. gauranteed wooping is coming for tarver. you could not be more correct, i just took a 2 week break during my move and was sick, i lost only 10 lbs and i am weak as hell, lost a ton of strength. i am 5-8% bf, i test 2% on calipers so who the fuck knows i say 7 or 8 sounds reasonable, so its all muscle i lost and yea if he took off 30 of muscle in a month he was weeeeeeeaaaaaak. i sound like a broken record k to all the roy supporters.zero3si said:I'll tell ya what...I'm very similar to Roy in size... I'm 5'10....I was 127lbs in 1997. I was 202lbs in 2004. I was training for a 5k race and I wanted to run it in under 20 minutes. In less then a month I dropped from 202lbs to 178lbs. I felt like the weakest POS in the world. I had absolutly no strength.
Jones did not take an ass whooping from Tarver in the first fight. The second fight....Jones had nothing to prove. He had ABSOLUTLY no motivation...he didn't care....Yes he lost and got knocked out...but the sun shines even on a dogs ass some days. Tarver is a fucking CRACK HEAD DRUG ADDICT....he's a loser and will always be a loser...
Robinson was world welterweight champion from 1946-51 never losing his 1st fight he lost was to Jake Lamotta then he went to beat him 5 times after losing the 1st one. Most of Robinson losses came at the end of his career when he was in his forty's.bruce410 said:ye ye yea, fuck tarver. one thing mookie are you sure about ray robinson being a welter, i think your thinking of ray leanord. anyway hell yea its on like donkey kong, no mercy. gauranteed wooping is coming for tarver. you could not be more correct, i just took a 2 week break during my move and was sick, i lost only 10 lbs and i am weak as hell, lost a ton of strength. i am 5-8% bf, i test 2% on calipers so who the fuck knows i say 7 or 8 sounds reasonable, so its all muscle i lost and yea if he took off 30 of muscle in a month he was weeeeeeeaaaaaak. i sound like a broken record k to all the roy supporters.
