Romney caught on hidden cam saying messed up $hit

you see how easy it is to use his comments against him? Obama isn't even trying and he is gonna win in a landslide. I don't think Obama has run a great campaign at all. but Romney is making this too easy.. thats why oddsmakers have Obama as almost a 5 to 1 favorite to win.

Eh the media is still pushing this "omg its so close!" angle. Nate Silver is really the only prognosticator one needs to pay attention to, and as of yesterday he gives Obama a 79% shot at winning.

And all this time I thought McCain was the master of fucking up a campaign.

The top 1% owns more Cash than the bottom 150,000,000 Americans.
7000 millionaires didn't pay a cent in taxes also.
20 Corporations paid no Federal taxes.
I guess those people aren't in Rawmoney's statement.
He's just talking about the other folks.

^ Worth reading again.

Agree with everything he said but wtf dude, you can NOT say that shit out loud.

You can agree with it, but it makes you just as stupid as he is because its wrong.
Republicans want to paint half the country as free loading bums. But the median income is 50k/yr. A lot of people are getting bigger tax refunds than they used to due to tax breaks and cuts as part of the stimulus. Tax breaks....that's a republican thing right?

So the people that Romney describes as unproductive, feeling entitled, and victims, are working 2 jobs, teachers, mechanics, the people working retail stores, factorys, government offices, schools, etc. Regular people trying to make it in a tough economy.
I respect those people. I feel for those people. Romney obviously disrespects them. And the people he is talking about, well, that very likely could be you.

Of course the characterizations about Romney being a rich snob, out of touch with reality and the struggles of real people, a guy who looks down on regular folks, that was all just politics being played by the democrats right?

Romney is doing a better job than the dems of painting that picture.

you wrote the algorithm? google will give me your opinions?

I was not aware of that. You must be a god damn genius, Gump!

You want me to tell you what programs Republicons want to defund?
There is only so much spoon feeding I can do.
But seriously, even Republicans have to be honest and start from a point of reality.
Do Republicans want to defund government programs?
Yes.
Will that hurt middle and lower income people.
Yes.
I thought republicans took pride in that. Like Herman Cain likes to say:

"If your not rich, blame yourself."

I'm not kidding about google.
If you want to know more, read about:
-Who gets hurt if healthcare is defunded.
-What happens to seniors with Ryans medicare plan
-What happens to women if Repubs defund Planned Parenthood including STD testing, birth control pills, abortion, cancer screenings etc.
-What happens to college age kids when repubs defund student loan and grant programs..
-What happens to younger kids when repubs defund public schooling.

The list goes on.

The funny thing is, after they destroy America as we know it, the debt will be higher. All the money will be at the top, but they won't tax that money, and government spending on our biggest socialist program, the military, will go up.
That's the priority. You are a republican so don't ask me to explain it to you, be proud of it.

Almost every tax you mentioned there gets paid back to people who are below a certain income level, via credits when (IF) they file their taxes.

I'm not one to support the elite white America and fuck everyone else, but at some point, shit just gets ridiculous...You do realize that half of the taxes you just mentioned are paid for by the EMPLOYER. The business owner.

Wrong. Every tax I listed is paid by the individual. Employers also pay into FICA,
but thats on top of the individual tax.
And your assertion that people get all that money back is wrong. The people who don't pay Fed income tax still pay plenty of tax. That's my point.

I thought Republicans loved tax breaks but here you all are whining about them. Maybe you are only in favor of tax breaks for people who don't need them?

It's actually 51% pay no federal taxes. And 50% are on some sort of guberment assistance (playoffs for votes) NOT including SS or Medicare.

Now, what kind of liberal socialists society have we become?? This has been the dems plan since Woodrow Wilsion and they have finally done it.

it was approximately 45% in 2011...and there were a lot of rich people included in that number...here's how it worked...the maximum capital gain tax rate is 15%...however, for 2010 and 2011, if you were in the 15% bracket for regular/ordinary income tax, then the maximum capital gain tax rate dropped to 0%...rich people have lots of investments and qualifying dividends are also taxed at the capital gain tax rate...soooooo, rich people, for the last two years orchestrated their lives in such a fashion that they had little or no regular/ordinary income, so that all of their dividends and capital gains were taxed at 0%...thus, that statistic is more than just a little bit deceiving...and, for the record, i am a conservative (i.e., by imparting this information to you, i'm throwing my own peeps under the bus).

oh and, the irs could easily go back and fix that situation by examining those people that took advantage of the situation and forcing them to recognize reasonable compensation for their efforts in their businesses, thus pushing them out of the 15% bracket for regular/ordinary income and, if they don't do just that??? then the democrats are just as dirty as the republicans when it comes to protecting and favoring the rich...period.

Digi, you are being way too reasonable for a republican. Your suggestion is great, but repubs would just call it raising taxes and its automatically dead in the water regardless of how much sense it makes. And until the filibuster rules get changed, no one will pass shit on either side.
