raw eggs

every morning i drink a few raw eggs, just wondering if i should contuine to do this or not. just found out that raw eggs can cause Biotin Deficiency Syndrome, not completely sure if this is legit or not

there is the salmonella problem also. probably just easier to hard boil them and then eat.

i personally wouldnt worry about either of them. wash the eggs with anti bac dish soap before you eat the eggs and you will not get salmonella

I have added raw eggs to my protein shakes everyday for years. There are potential negative health concerns so only do what you feel is safe for you.

i say blah blah everything gunna give you something. i'v been downing raw eggs every morning for fugen ages and i've had no dramas yet. i've grown a second head but no selmonella

I use pasturized liquid egg whites that I drink in shakes etc. As for raw, you can boil for 30 seconds if you are worried. The one issue I was told though is the bioavailability of the egg is incomplete until the egg is cooked. So you very well could be getting in your protein from the eggs and cant absorb/digest them.

I don't drink the raw regularly, but I will say this... The best shake I ever made was 2 scoops of chocolate whey, 3 whole eggs, heavy cream, ghiradeli coco powder, and 5 packets of splenda. Add enough ice and it's like drinking ice cream. Carb free diet only
