Quick questions about torn muscles.

I'm self-diagnosing myself with a definite tear of the long head of my left triceps brachii. I thought I was just really sore from my workout Tuesday, but then my right triceps stopped being sore and I noticed a big bruise on the medial superior portion of my left arm..

It's not a serious tear by any means. I've had no trouble at work, and I did shoulders this afternoon without a problem. It seems so soon, but should I take time off to let it heal? I hit triceps directly Tuesday and Saturday, and for the sake of my chest I'd rather not take time off.

I have no experience with this sort problem, is there any sort of rehab-y things I should be doing? I just finished a week off and I'm not looking forward to taking more time. :bawling:
 
get a doc to look at it if possible. I would hate to have an undiagnosed tri tear in the back of my mind while benching heavy...a sports medicine doc. As long as the tendon is not detached it will probably just be a matter of time. Coming back from a pec tear myself and just training everything but chest while I heal...
