I have lost body fat from taking oxandraone and not changing my changing my diet or cardio as well, I have just started another cycle now of 10mg, after just having had my 3rd baby at Christmas time.
I can't wait to start training again and not feeling so dam weak!
Really??? just curious..can you be specific as to results here? I don't take var, but the majority of what I have read warns against taking it without strict diet or cardio. I could have read this all wrong..so, could you specify what you do in terms of training and cardio? And results? (Congrats on the third baby, too..My hats off to you there, alone.) Gracias! :)

I disagree actually. I've lost fat on 'Anavar - oxandrolone - with no changes in cardio or diet, and the majority of medical literature supports the idea that Anavar - oxandrolone - will make you lose fat. It's a fat burner.

I know we'd like to say "steroids don't burn fat" but that's just total bullshit.
I think that this myth started with the unrealistic goals and flawed training/nutrition approach that many women have. They want to gain lean muscle mass, or appear "toned" as they say, then they want to burn fat, so they don't look "smooshy" or "gooey" or whatever else they're calling it that day, and then because they're chasing that certain unattainable image of perfection, or what they see as such, they want to be thinner as well.

SO then they take anavar or clen or both thinking it will be the answer. They gain a little muscle, maybe lose a little fat (but they gain more muscle than the amount of fat they lost), and retain a bit of water, which results in a net gain, or maybe just has a recompositioning effect and their weight stays the same.

Either way, they're still "smooshy" with more muscle and some water on them. Does that mean that anavar didn't burn some of their fat? Yes, that is what they believe and propagate.

Mandy-
Greetings to you! So, in sum, what would YOU say your opinion is? I do apologize if I could not discern that from the post; I believe you are saying that women would be INCORRECT to say that steroids do not burn fat and to promote this, no? Thanks, Mandy. You look great- fit and feminine. Another inspiration here, among many. :)

I was saying why I think Anthony's correct, but also explaining, in my opinion, how the whole "steroids don't burn fat" thing got started in the first place. If you told most women that they do indeed burn fat, they would be all over everything in an attempt to attain a look that said agents will not give them.

EXACTLY why I don't say that steroids are "fat burners" per se. Then add in the fact that 99% of these said women will do NO research into steroids, effects and safe/effective use of them ... and you have a train wreak waiting to happen. Nicely said, and welcome!

Thanks. Steroids certainly burn fat...whether people want to admit it or not. The problem comes in when people distort the facts to suit their own agenda when the truth isn't something they want to admit.

In the end, my theory is to put the truth out, and let people be as educated as possible.

I am a novice I KNOW BUT...I think
They burn the fat IF muscle is gained by lifting and calories are on target for each person.
I am taking 10 mg daily and have gained muscle BUT I have not been on target 100% with calories and fat is also visible.

They burn fat even if you don't exercise. That's a medical fact.

AR, with respect to this topic and Var, give me some knowledge of yours here..I have also read that once you come off, gains (like veininess and hardness) are lost and the fat returns. I AM a total novice..so, from your experiences, have you seen this to be true? If so, then you would have to stay on forever, and how is that good? Thanks in advance, AR.
