is 3 sets of 3 excerises enough for biceps? how long do u guys usually spend in the gym on biceps?it just seems my arms lag compare to my other bodyparts thanks!

re

depends on the actual weight and intensity. i mix my routine up with some heavy days and some reps days, my intensity pretty much stays the same.....go ballz out!

Like he said depends on the amount of weight and intensity.

You could sit there all day curling a rubber band and not get your biceps to grow.

I do many sets straight bar increasing weight 20lbs each set until get to about 225 than drop weight and go down.
Thats my first set of exercises about 10 or 15 sets then I go to dumbbells..
I do many sets maybe 30 total in 45 Min's to an hrs time with little breaks and finish w/forearms and maybe some light curl machines until failure.

When that heavy I do about 6 reps fairly strict, little back movement. Curls are my strongest exercise.
Its fun to freak people out with how much I can do.
:D

Dam , all I can say is that 225 is alot to be curling.

Geeze, that's a heavy curl. I bet it does freak people out. I would check it out. I do 5 sets with a straight bar and 5 sets of seated dumbbell curls once a week. A heavy set for me is 110 lbs.

Mike Francois trains me. It's fucking balls to the wall biceps training, with only 6 sets total of 2 exercises. I want to puke after every biceps workout.
