OK, I've upped my protein intake and it's upped my gaseous intake also. How do you deal with this. I'm so bloated and gaseous I could scream! There's always a rumble going on in my stomach. Today I got my period and blew up like I was having twins and then on top of the cramps the gas further extended my stomach and made it hard, until it started to move. Not the most tactful post but I can't be the only one with this problem. Any advice?
 
If you are using an egg-based protein powder that may aggravate the situation.

There's always "Beano"!

Also to help digestion of protein, you can use Ginger Root. (You can get it at any health food place.)
 
Supplement your diet with fiber tablets/supplements a couple of times a day, to keep peristolsis constant. Food will pass though much faster, especially if you have high protein and no/little....you barely do number 2. :toilet:
 
PowerPrincess, definitely "my drift", hell I almost ran my ownself out of my house! LOL!

Spatterson a sample of my diet would go like this:

2 norabol
2 PPAs
flax seed oil (1 TBL)

1 liter of water during workout

Protein drink w/fruit (strawberries, pineapple) Usually get this at the gym after workout, I think they use designer protein or labrada's lean something or other.


2 multivitamins
1 borage oil capsule
2-3 eggwhites, 1 egg (sometimes w/spinach, mushrooms)
1/2 oatbran eng. muffin w/fruit perserves
1 liter of water

1/2 pink grapefruit, 2 plums or small apple

2 norabol
1 PPA
Sunny Caesar Salad
(Romaine lettuce, tuna, sundried tomatoes, non-fat parmesan,olive oil (sometimes sub flax seed oil), apple cider vinegar, and a few anchovies)
1 liter of water

Protein chips or ostrich jerky

2 norabol
1 PPA
Chicken breast, small sweet potato (maybe some type of green leafy vegetable or a small salad)

Triple threat protein before bed
