Tried an experiment doing chest the other day. As Hammer nows I have had some trouble w/ my rotator only when performing flat bench on the last 2-3 inches of the decline.
It got to the point where it was just not worth doing them until.....
I tried preexhausting my pecs by hitting flyes and Inclines first. Amazingly by switching the order and " Priority" I was able to perform the movement w/ little to no pain, with less wight of course.
I tried to rationalize if this could still lead to steady growth and I came to the conclusion that by the time you reach flat bench after performing flyes and inclines your muscle fibers are in a state where they would usually be after doing flat bench first. So, one has to wonder if hitting your flat bench with leass wieght as your last excersize is the same as hitting your flat bench first w/ very heavy wieght.
In any case, seems I have found a solution to what was a very frustrating situation.
