Thats something I'm still playing around with. I was doing a cheat day every week, but it was slowing me down too much. I switched that to a cheat meal every 14 days but I feel it's too long of a time between the refeeds. What I'm gonna do is a VERY high carb refeed meal on Sunday nights right before bed....yams, oatmeal, bannana, and some natty PB...along with about 700mg r-ALA (bout 180g carbs). I'm wanna see how that works, hopefully it will keep my metabolism humming along without any spillover.
sk* - i wish i could bro, i learned it from personal trainers convention. ill try and look for you tho. it could be bullshit - who knows cause i used to take carbs as well before training
I think pre-workout meal is essential as postworkout meal
I always add oatmeal to my pre and postworkout meals and thats the only time of the day I eat carbs(beside the PW shake)
Non workout days I dont eat carbs
