I drink a shake with added Glutamine and drink some juice for HGI carbs. I eat chicken
and rice or "no yolk" egg noodles about 1 hr later and another shake w/o carbs before bed.
 
Immediately following my lift, I hit 100 grams of protien via shake. Then, about an hour after, I eat a complete meal... chicken and baked potato, chicken pasta, 1 lb. low fat beef burrito with low fat beans & cheese, etc. Then again about 3 hours after that. (I lift at around 1 pm on my lunch break)
 
10g of Gluatamine, Bowl of oatmeal w/ 2 tblsp of Honey, and Protein Shake 50g

45mins later: 6-8 eggs whites

well... i seem to get nagged from everybody in my family. Only person who doesn't nag is my brother who works out w/ me, but i hear these protein and kidney stories as well as the "you're eating artificial crap" stories too.
 
Here is what I do...

15 mins before end of workout, drink 1 glycoload
15 mins after workout drink aftermax protein (40g carbs, 40g protein, 2 grams fat with 10grams glutamine, 10 grams creatine, one multi vit)
1 hour later eat 40-60 grams of protein (food) nad one large sweet potato.
2 hours later whey protein shake 66g protein sweet potato...


works wonders....
 
Soon as I finish my last set I usually have 42 grams of protein mixed with 2 tablespoons of honey, and 2 1/2 cups of cornflakes. 1.5-2 hrs later I'll eat a big meal.
 
immediately after workout i take 5g of creatine with juice,after half an hour i take protein shake mixed with milk and banana.

also some vitaminC,E and multivitamin :D
 
10 Iu humalog about 10 min before its over

1.5 scoop protein
2 packs sugar free pudding mix (maltodextrin and flavors)
Tastes great, nice and think, and for my lbm perfect recovery ratio. Low fat too (2 gr)

About an hour later, some salmon with fat free butter,
toast, bannanna maybe, some peas and carrots, normal low fat meal
 
usually finish around 7:30pm(Training) 50gm protein shake about 20 min later. one & half hr later 3 chicken breasts ,yeast roll. beddy time 3 hrs later RADAR
 
immediatly after training.... 4-1 ratio carbs to protein (60g carbs, 15g protein), 5 grams creatine.
45 minutes to 1 hour later....1 Met-Rx
 
Can't think about or do anything post-workout until I slap around my hog n' nuts.


Yeah, I gotta beat the holy fuck outta my meat after I workout.............and before I work out..............and when I wake up in the morning............test-gotta love it!
 
i drink my protein shake and then proceed to "surprise" my girl, and get rid of all that excess energy i may have left.
 
mcdonalds, slam a chicken burger, 2 large fries, 3 large milkshakes, a hot fudge sunday and sometimes a donut.
or when not on a ''clean'' diet day, just go for the protein shake...hey, it aint as good as mc's but it will have to do!
 
I eat something high in simple carbs immediatly after to spike my blood sugar back up and then slam a protien shake about 45 mins after. I heard that when your body gets the most use out of it.
 
10 iu of Humulin R at the start of workout. Then 20 mins in a 700ml drink of Glucose ( 100 grams ) and Creatine ( 20 grams ). I sip on this until the end of my workout and the pump is sensational. It lasts until the end when I have 15 grams of glutamine. Drive home and make a protein shake, 1/2 hr, for 60 grams of protein.
45 mins later is a solid food meal of high protein and low carbs.
 
I will actually mix an Ultra-Fuel with an Iso-2-go (whey isolate, 40
grams protien, no carbs) together and slug it down before I walk
out of the gym. And take a gram of ALA with that of coarse.

Where are all these guys, where did they go?

According to Bob Kennedy (Editor of MuscleMAg Int.) the average time someone remains actively lifting weights is two years. Of course, that includes a lot of kids. Once they get a job or a girlfriend, it's over.

I'd say the period for more serious guys is 4 years. It's tough to maintain enthusiasum for much longer.

I think gear helps and hurts. If you're a long timer and get into gear, it can really extend the duration because you have new found gains. But guys who start gear too soon soon realize it's too hard to do without it and blow it off after a while.

To those of you who've been at this more than ten years, I salute you. You're a lifer.
 
I have a premabe shake on the way home in the car
made of 50g protein 60g carbs 10g BCAA 5g createin.

jk chug down some cyto-gainer and eat some cottage cheese with tuna, then stretch, take a shower wash my ballsac, clip my toenails, shave, watch some sportscenter, read the bodybuilders encyclopedia, out
 
You forgot put shake with whey/high GI carbs as an option. That's what I drink immdeiately afterwords. Then a meal with similar carb/protein raios 1 and 1/2 hours after that.

so you are single and live alone, or the basement of you mom's house.. Good Job...
 
after a workout i heat up water and pour 5 grams of micronized creatine in it, the heat helps it dissolve, next i add 5 tablespoons of honey for the carbs and sugar in it to cause an insulin spike to help creatine absorption. I'll take 40 grams of protein 30 min. later with glutamine and a meal high in protein and fast carbs. Ususally add a tablespoon of peanut butter with my meal.
 
The days I end with rows, go home and drink a shake. The days I end with deadlift, I lay on the ground cursing existence for awhile, then go home and drink a shake.
 
Go home and bang my girl for a little cardio, then full meal with a weight-gainer, currently Big Blast.
 
It depends on whether I whether I want to eat or not.

(1) Sometimes I do waxy, glut, leucine followed by whey, then veggies and meat (about 50% of time)
(2) if I'm hungrier, whey + oats + milk (more tasty carbs)
(3) today, whey + roasted butternut squash and steak
(4) if I have sweet craving, milk, whey, banana, low fat ice cream

Waxy maize and small amount of protein followed by a large protein shake then dinner. PWO i probably consume close to 2000 cals total.
 
1 Liter of crystal lyte with BCAA and Glutamine and sugar added. A few Amino Tabs I may have laying around. 3/4 to 1 lb ground meat.
 
I have a 50g protein shake+5gr of Glutamine+5gr of creatine all mixed together and take BCAA also in tablets.

then go home and eat some chicken after 30 minutes and rice
 
i put "slam a protein shake" but now I just go home and have a meal usually. Sometimes I have some milk post workout then a meal about hour later but most of the time I go home and have either chicken or steak with either potatoes or rice
 
50 gram shake mixed with a cup of fat free milk a banana 2 scoops natural pb w/ omegas and flax and a spoon or 2 of dry oats. oh yeah baby....
 
do people find that taking your protein and fast carbs post workout as a shake instead of food makes that much differance? is it because its convenient or does it actually work that much better?
 
I drink a protein shake, including some BCAAs and dextrose, immediately after the workout (my workouts are in the early-evening, usually). Then, after I arrive home, I have a "real-food" meal of mainly protein.

then 1 hour after ym gym workout: 100gram carb meal, 50 prtoein meal and some fat ( by this time im sitting in a uni lecture and everyones staring at me munching down a tub of rice and smoked tuna, even the lecturers stare at me like im retarded lol)

I wish I was allowed to eat in class :(
 
I can eat at breaktime or while on lunch break but during classes Im not even allowed to drink milk, the only thing you can do is drink water lol. Yeah some teachers would let me drink milk but a major rule is no eating in class.

Dude I have such a poor mind-muscle connection with my delts I cant tense them unless I put my arms up in like the top of a lateral raise position. I cant tense them while my arms are by my sides...

I work out mid-day, right before lunch. So I eat while cooling down, then shower & continue with the day. Breakfast is my big meal of the day with the most protein, and lunch is #2. On workout days, lunch will be a small amount of turkey or chicken, and rice or other carb, and sometimes a shake.

dam that suks, personaly id just mix skim milk with some flavour n small scoop protein to get my calories in

id hide the shaker under my desk and sip it when their not looking lol

dam then just tense something you do have good min to muscle connection, whatever u think will scare her lol

Lol I actually might start drinking milk at school

maybe Ill wack my thing out that should scare her :p
 
I have protein shake at 40 mins into workout then go home and have a omelette with greens, bacon & mushrooms. Then I start my daily stalking ritual.
