after a workout i heat up water and pour 5 grams of micronized creatine in it, the heat helps it dissolve, next i add 5 tablespoons of honey for the carbs and sugar in it to cause an insulin spike to help creatine absorption. I'll take 40 grams of protein 30 min. later with glutamine and a meal high in protein and fast carbs. Ususally add a tablespoon of peanut butter with my meal.
