Well, when my corgi was teething his adult teeth (he was a cardigan corgi) he literally ATE a good chunk (took off about 3" or so) from an antique wooden rocking chair's rocker. That was about 1-1/2" solid maple. Helluva lot tougher than baby toes.

But you're absolutely right, that pup is probably still cutting his milk teeth. I just don't get how the parent's didn't hear something. A puppy with only milk teeth couldn't have done the job quickly. That baby was screaming for a while before permanent damage was done.

I think they can be too. This sounds like it was just a pup trying to feed. Just a bad situation all around. They'll probably put the puppy down for trying to feed.

It's a killer dog, mr animal lover in denial. You think it's cute, so are baby bears. For real, it'd probably eat the baby if it were hungry enough.

I would go toe to toe with any lawyer on this. The parents should not be prosecuted.

Do they really belong in jail with murderers and rapists, thieves, jackangels, prostitutes? I think not. They could be the most loving parents, but slept through something that was tragic.
