Those pics are clear proof that powerlifting makes you fat, injures you and doesn't build 'real muscle'.

If only more of people would do the same kind of hard work for several years they might actually look like they juiced.

Nice work, you look a lot like I did a couple years ago.. same #'s too (before I decided to get fat :p)

edit - doing a few sets of curls for 20 reps every pulling workout not only helped my chronically shitty elbows, but got my arms bigger too. Don't dave and the other EFS guys reccomend that?

i am definitely a fatass from powerlifting, the heavy weights just pack the blubber on, i dont know what it is???

ive never heard the efs guys say that about doing arms, i know they recommend a few sets of curls to prevent tearing you biceps when pulling though. I should look into that more.

thanks bro

Who needs bodybuilding if you already look like that. I want to look good but strength is my #1 priority. Awesome numbers and awesome physique. Keep PL and switch to the fluffy BB stuff if and when you get too old to stay competitive.
Well heres one fluffy BBer saying that although I can not lift those numbers for 1-3 reps, I can lift a little under half those numbers for 8-10 reps. I think I just shifted 3 times your weight in one set. :chomp:

Wow this is crazy even for me to look back at, I was a fuckin bean pole when I got into this game. Ive made some serious gains though, I thought Id share this, maybe give some people some inspiration. Ive put on over 80lbs in the last 9-10 years, last 4 years cycling. The pictures start after I already had 4 years of on and off highschool lifting not knowing what the hell I was doing. But I have been dedicated and been in the gym nonstop for the last 5-6 years, going balls to the fucking wall every night.

I started lifting at 14 weighing 125lbs soaking wet, my dad got me into it and I responded really well, I put on muscle pretty quick and got stronger fast. I loved going as heavy as i could and looked forward to the next workout every day to see if i could break a PR.

These first pictures are right when I turned 18 years old, about 155 lbs I believe. If i remember correctly I was benching 225 for 5 or 6, squatted 315, and deadlifted 405 for 2, not bad for a scrawny little prick huh lol. Keep in mind this is AFTER gaining 30 pounds of muscle, god damn I was small :worried:.

These next pics are from just after turning 20, right after my first cycle of sus/dbol. I ran sustanon for 7 weeks at 350mg/wk with 25mg dbol for 3 weeks. I went from 170 to about 180-185, benching around 345 I believe and squatting 405 deep, I think I pulled 500 by then too.

Next ones are at 21 after my second cycle of 250mg test\400mg eq for 12 weeks, and 75mg anavar for 6 weeks. Went from 180ish to about 190lbs. I had benched 355, squatted 455 and deadlifted 535 by the time these pics where taken.

And here are some pics I took tonight, sitting around 208lbs. About 5-6 more cycles under my belt since those last pics. I havent put on alot of size since the last pictures at 21 for the amount of cycles I have done, but all my effort in the gym goes into getting stronger, and I have definitely accomplished that. My bench right now is around 425-430, deadlift is around 675 and my squat is around 600-625, which are all raw numbers. In a competition in single ply equipment is am 700+deadlifter, 500+bencher, and 700+ squatter. I do not care really about size or the way I look, as I compete in powerlifting and the training just does not cause hypertrophy or cause much muscle growth. Alot of my friends bust my balls about training for BB and say if I would have trained to grow all this time I'd probably be about 230 by now lol. Im pretty happy with what ive accomplished in the last few years though. You all know that its never enough, but thats what keeps us going week in and week out.

My legs are way ahead of my upper body, if you saw me in street clothes youd think I was 190, I carry all my weight from the ass down. Anyways in short thats about 50lbs of muscle, 200lbs on bench, 300lbs on deadlift, and 300lbs on my squat in 6 years, Ive been puttin some fuckin work in bros. I hope this gives some of you a little motivation.

I hate you. lol
