took a shot in the glute on sunday and although there is no mark at all it's now Tuesday and it's still tender. This was actually my 1st ever shot so I must admit I did shake a little bit so there may have been some movement. naturally I did aspirate but was curious if this tenderness is the same for everyone.

For me, I know that if I didn't go deep enough into the muscle, the shot lays on top of the muscle waiting to disapate; which hurts for days. This is just my experience.

Sometimes it gets deathly sore...other times its nothing. As long as you were clean and sanitary about it you will prob be fine.

i've had some shots that hurt for a week.. best thing to do is deeply massage the area IMMEDIATELY after the shot.. not now bro, it's too sore to touch i'm sure.

Bro, I posted the same deal last week. Everyone scared the shit out of me so I went to the doc. Doc said it was infected and put me on zithromax "he did'nt know shit". I think I would have been fine without it. Keep an eye on it.

Dude your not being a pussy, I've been lifting for 13yrs. and I had my first abcess on my ass after 8 yrs of juice, I had to be hospitalized so they could cut it out, yeah it sucked, but novice or intermediate or pro no one is perfect.

yup if you have no redness or heat at the surface of the pain then it is not an infection. you hit a nerve, vein, or you just have a sterile infect which means the gear is stuck basically. you need to massage it with heat as directed. i am very prone to this. i had one that took 3 weeks to go away so i went to the doc. they give you antibiotics that clear it up but if it ain't red or hot then you can deal with it yourself. a jacuzzi jet works great, blast the painful area as long as you can handle. heating pad works too, or if you have to be ghetto just wrap a wet towel up and heat it in the microwave. massage your ass with the hot towel. your fine bro good luck
