Our Strengths

1. I'm good with goals.
2. I got some genetics helping me out
3. I love running
4. I love the perfectionistic aspect to weight training.
5. I think of working out as going to Church. I love myself. Gots'ta take care of my temple.
6. I love my man who likes to go with me, we see eachother in the weight room, try to "out serious" eachother, we joke with the occasional chaulk handprint on the black spandex ass, or comments like "are we leaning or lifting here?" ...we run side by side on the tread mill. It's together time in a very individual way. It's nice. He's intense when I'm feeling slack and vice versa. Plus he chases away the Goobers that like to stare at my ass.

No no no..... that's not what I mean ---- it's hard to explain.....

Bright makeup/clothes etc are OK if they fit well & fit your bodytype....

I'm talking about the women who, say, are a size X & wear overly-bright ill fitting clothes 3 sizes too small and wear makeup that's completely unflattering....

That happens at any age. It kills me to see women in their mid-20's still dressing like they are in their junior year of high school.

There is a women like that at my job (I work in a corporate legal dept., so things are pretty conservative). She's in her 50's and swears she's a size 10. She's probably a 16, yet she wears size 10 short skirts, high heel shoes and tight tops.

Yeah, that's more like what I mean....

Tight/tiny/revealing, etc clothes look good as long as they fit you & your body type...... but there's a lot of people who try to shove into a Jr. size M when they are a women's size 12 or whatever & that doesn't look good on anyone....

in my work place i wear cloths that are too big for me alot of the time to avoid this..

The chubbier girls can shove their bums into them and no one says a word but if i wear anything a bit revealing all hands up and compalints to HR.. by the ones wearing it who don't fit :worried:

1. I LOVE to workout.
2. I am very determined, focussed, and committed.
3. I actually like to eat healthy.
4. I like to do cardio and wake up with my wonderful roomate at 5:45 everyday to do it!

Here are what I consider my strengths, some of them I've recently acquired.

1) My ability to stay focused, and determined

2) My ability to get up at 6:30 am every morning to go to the gym and do cardio (and I hate cardio, well it's growing on me, now I tolerate it)

3) My ability to eat whatever it takes to get me where I need to, even if I can't stand it, I'll try it.

4) My willpower. I can now sit down at my favorite chicken and ribs restaurant with family and friends, while they stuff their faces with my favorite foods and dessert., and just have a salad with a plain chicken breast, with no dressing, and when offered a bite of my bf's yummy chocolate cake, say no thank you.

I think I'm somewhat grounded and don't try to "look" 22 -- you know those women who wear garish makeup & stupid clothes?? Hubby will see them & give me a kiss for staying "natural." I don't know if this makes any sense......

I love you.
;)
