Our Strengths

I know its all good to acknowledge your weaknesses so you can address them, however I think to balance that, we really need to list our strengths as well in pursuit of the fitness lifestyle.

My strengths are:

1) My ability to not care what I shovel down at "refueling time".
2) My love of gym time, seeing what my body can do & learning new ways to do it.
3) My increasing tolerance (and appreciation) of cardio.
4) My increasing respect and appreciation for high reps / light weight. (My back agrees w/ this one too.)
5) The motivation I gain from all you girls (and guys) and the confidence & self-esteem I gather from that.
 
My ability to keep going when times get hard.
My ability to push myself at crazy hours of the day.
The motivation I gain from all of the girls and guys on Elite.
My ability to think outside the box and not take life too seriously
My love of lifting and, my favorite excercise (after sex), squats
 
1. How much I looooove my husband!!!!!!!!
2. My triceps, my best bodypart - strongest

3. Ah! I know one. I ability to say NO!!!!!!!!!!
4. I enjoy my own company - I can be alone.

this is fun. Keep going guys!
 
I'm frugal (some would say cheap) -- but I can tweak a budget & pinch out BIG TIME savings in our household.

I'm damn strong -- and will show it off at the Pump N Run Saturday.

I'm funny.

I think I'm somewhat grounded and don't try to "look" 22 -- you know those women who wear garish makeup & stupid clothes?? Hubby will see them & give me a kiss for staying "natural." I don't know if this makes any sense......

What's wrong w/ that?? I'll be doign that on May 14 ... !

(Well I guess that's a special occassion. I cannot, however, be held responsible for what I wear if / when I hit below 140 lb....)
 
I make the best of most situations

Can put a smile on even the glumiest person face

From bed to car in less than 10 minutes:)

No no no..... that's not what I mean ---- it's hard to explain.....

Bright makeup/clothes etc are OK if they fit well & fit your bodytype....

I'm talking about the women who, say, are a size X & wear overly-bright ill fitting clothes 3 sizes too small and wear makeup that's completely unflattering....
 
I'll gues I'll play too. Don't be surprised if my strengths directly conflict with my weaknesses. I can't help it I'm a libra.

1. I'm really focused. Focused to the point where I can't concentrate on anything but fitness. My idle time is spent reading about fitness.

2. I'm very enthusiastic. The instructors beg me to stand in the front of the class so that the other students can gain some confidence and give the workout their all.

3. My willpower is usually great. I'm not tempted easily.

4. Exercise wise, the bench press.
