But even my support has it's limits.

Smokers should pay their own way for treatment of smoking related illness.

Same should apply to obesity.

If I deliberately chop my legs off I shouldn't get disability support either.

She will die before she gets that heavy.

Her doctor, Patrick Flite warned: "She's playing Russian roulette with her life. But she's capable of making her own decisions and I don't see any psychiatric problems or anything else wrong."

He is not warning her enough.

If this woman could see what is going on in her bloodstream, how hard it is for her cardiovascular system to maintain circulation she would come to her senses.

But we know obesity has a genetic component. So are you going to penalize someone for having bad genes?

Same for smoking. Those nicotine receptors in one person's brain may work like heroin in another's brain.

And even your chopping-off a leg scenario has issues -- are you saying we don't have the same moral obligation to provide health care for the mentally ill?
