I"m assuming I somehow ... crushed? my finger, or put a lot of pressure on it, while I deadlifting, I was doing 240lbs 5x5(which is highest I've gotten so far), and on my last few sets, my grip was starting to get harder to maintain, and on the last rep, I had to try real hard to hold onto the bar... and somehow my pointer finger, like the tip of it got numb, its the next day and it still feels a little numb, no black and blue or anything, I guess it kinda feels like when you hit your finger with a hammer, but hurts less and lasts longer..
this happen often with you guys?, am I perhaps gripping the bar incorrectly?, I'm using the alternating grip, but not doing anything special besides that
