need diet help

I just started gettin back into working out after stopping for 3 years after highschool football but the problem is im already 6'5 270lbs. I need to drop some serious weight so i could start bulking back up seriously to get bigger. What would be the best way to start eliminating the fat right away and the most efficient way. Ive been running 2 miles a day but is there any supplements that work really well. Im getting desperate
 
Clean up yrou diet, get yoru measurements (BMI, BF, Correct Weight). At 6'5" you shouldn't have That much trouble losing weight...but everyone is different. Put the cookies and cake down, GET ACTIVE....that's your start, I'm sure at 270 you're eatign WAY more then 3k cals.

Here is a simple weigth loss guide:

Quality of 2000 Calories + exercise exceeding 30 minutes per day= Weight loss

This means that there is a difference between wating 2000 cals of pizza versus 2000 cals of lean chicken and oats...

Most people say eat less and loose, I say eat more lean and loose...I eat 3,000 cals a day and never gain an ounce...Pick up your metabolism


The only one who can loose weight is you, nothgin else matters, your will power, your desire...we can show you the path, but you have to walk it!!!
 
As far as supplements goes...weigth loss supplements are all loaded with caffeine...save your dollar bills and drink a cup of coffee in the morning...

Unless yoru like 8% BF trygin to cut to 3% weight loss supplements are really much more effective that caffeine form coffee.

I can TELL you from Hydroxycuts comercial that the placebo lost 3.04% of body weight and the test group on hydroxycut lost 3.09% of body weight...Now if that is worth 30 bucks to you...lol....05% which is NOTHING...

Just good old fashion clean diet + exercise brother...good luck!!!
 
I am new here, I am requesting some help also. I am 49 years old, weighed 215 5'6". I have lifted all my life on and off. In Nov, i decided to lose this weight for good and for my health. I have never stopped doing cardio though, usually 30 min. 4 x week HR avg. 150-160 interval for past 6 years. Problem is I was eating lots junk food. Since Nov start date i lost 15 lb. but still have atleast 20 lbs. fat to lose.

diet is as follows and i have been stuck since Dec. 20th or so. Once week I cheat with some junk which I shouldnt do.

730 a.m. 30 min cardio & 40 min free weight workout
9:30 post o/n whey shake w wateror 4 egg whites

1030 "piece fruit & ounce almounds

12 noon: broccli, large salad olive oil & cider ving. with either 6 oz chicken breast or bag tuna. unclie ben brown rice 1/2 cup.

230 O/N shake & piece fruit

6 p.m. chicken again, or salmon with vegg or 1/2 rice again

830 O/N shake again

I figure about 1200 calories. I am always stuffed and i have an all day desk job. Do you think I am still starving myself causing metab to shut down ????

Maybe more fresh fruit and Vegetables are the go? Are you getting good uninterrupted sleep?
