I am new here, I am requesting some help also. I am 49 years old, weighed 215 5'6". I have lifted all my life on and off. In Nov, i decided to lose this weight for good and for my health. I have never stopped doing cardio though, usually 30 min. 4 x week HR avg. 150-160 interval for past 6 years. Problem is I was eating lots junk food. Since Nov start date i lost 15 lb. but still have atleast 20 lbs. fat to lose.
diet is as follows and i have been stuck since Dec. 20th or so. Once week I cheat with some junk which I shouldnt do.
730 a.m. 30 min cardio & 40 min free weight workout
9:30 post o/n whey shake w wateror 4 egg whites
1030 "piece fruit & ounce almounds
12 noon: broccli, large salad olive oil & cider ving. with either 6 oz chicken breast or bag tuna. unclie ben brown rice 1/2 cup.
230 O/N shake & piece fruit
6 p.m. chicken again, or salmon with vegg or 1/2 rice again
830 O/N shake again
I figure about 1200 calories. I am always stuffed and i have an all day desk job. Do you think I am still starving myself causing metab to shut down ????
