is noticeably bigger than my left arm (muscle/bicep-wise). This is obviously from many years of playing sports where my right arm is the dominant one. In terms of lifting, it is not that much stronger than my left. Will the difference in size eventually even out?

I'm guessing you were a pitcher. I would say yes, they will even out on their own after being trained the same for a while--- but stick with heavy compound exercises...
That's pretty common, yeah heavy compounds would do it. Also you could supplement your workout with dumbell curls, dumbell french press on your left after your workout =/.
