I have to ask why did you get ripped in the first place?

Many train to look good naked so that they can find willing sexual partners; some train to look intimidating; some train because they think that the extra functional strength is healthy; others because they think that some good muscle tone and low BF is healthy; others train for competition and some train just because they enjoy lifting heavy iron.

The question is really why do you want to be ripped? In what way does being ripped contribute to your life? Have you lost sight of the cause and found obsession in a sub-goal? Does being ripped help you find work or help you get laid? You already know that it's not contributing to health. Why do you want to be ripped?

well, today was suppose to be well earned off day from the weight room.....first in a while and my body is telling me very quickly that I need to tone back and crank back tomorrow. Eat and recover. However, my meeting in cleveland might be cancelled due to the weather....in which case i will go in after work, do some light legs, chest, and pylos.........

It is common but I feel your is not "common" I feel a more severe case needs more severe treatment. I stay lean most times but I know about depression. Try tearing your quad and have your nationally competitive great leg go from 30" to 23" in 8 weeks! I cried! But, I am back at heavy weights it seems this year. It can be done but you should take like a week and just eat good clean high nutrient food and rest and sleep as much as you can. then no cardio for awhile heavy intense short sessions ala Dorian....IMHO.

Does your diet change (save pw shake) between training and non training? Would it keep you leaner, if you switched to a fat/pro meal versus a pro/carb meal? Say swapping chicken and rice for chicken and flax?

I think we already settled earlier in the thread, though, that this emaciated look isn't working for you. Looking good, for you, involves gaining weight. Accordingly, you're not striving to be ripped in order to look good.

I'm not just playing with logic here. You need to work out why you feel this need to be unhealthily thin. You know it's not in order to look good.
 
I like looking good and I do...maybe hard for you to believe, but Ive never had a problem picking up women, socializing, etc etc......is it because of my abs? Hell no.....but they all know how shredded I am......
 
you know what really really fing sucks...........is that I feel good today.....esp. good.....I'd LOVEVVEEE to hit the gym......damn......
