I spent all night on the floor of my parent's garage trying to calm my poor little dude down.
I got a call from my mother around 11PM that he was howling and acting like he was in pain, but wouldn't let her touch him. When I got there he came right to me and wouldn't let me put him down. So I blew up the air mattress and spent the night on the floor with him. He howled and tossed/turned all night... no sleep for DD. No signs of poison, but his stomach was rock hard. With all of the crap that in my parent's barn I wouldn't be surprised if he ate something that got stuck. He's only 8 months so I'm sure he's terrified. His little cries brought tears to my eyes.
He's now bedded down at the vet. Blood tests have confirmed no poison so they're going to feed him a little and take some x-rays. Crossing my fingers that he doesn't need surgery.
Ugh, the things we put ourselves through for our children.
